The Lindenwood women's golf team tied for seventh on Sunday as it competed at the Oak Terrace Spring Invite in Pana, Ill. The Lady Lions recorded 344 total points, 25 points behind the winner Grand Valley State.
 
Megan Burgress had the most impressive outing tying for eighth with three others. Burgress shot an 81, which was only 11 strokes behind the leader. Julieta Rotzinger pulled out a score of 85 and tied for 22nd while Marcella Ax shot an 87 and also tied.
 
Abigail Beirne and Kasey McCammack each finished with a score 91 while Isabel Morsch carded a 106 for the tournament.
 
The women's golf team will be back on the green April 23-24 as both teams will compete at the MIAA Championships in Smithville, Mo.
