The Lindenwood women's golf team starts off the season with a fourth place finish out of seven teams at the William Jewell Fall Tune Up in Liberty, Mo.
 
Rockhurst won the event after shooting a 635, while Lindenwood finished in fourth with a 676 after shooting rounds of 336 and 340.
 
Madelyn Piccininni, who tied for second with a 156 after shooting a 77 and a 79, led Lindenwood. Julieta Rotzinger tied for 14^th, Sydney Hawley placed 19^th, Alanna Haynes and Ashtin Withers placed 24th and 25th respectively.
 
The Lindenwood women's golf team will compete again in the Screaming Eagles Classic hosted by the University of Southern Indiana on September 16 and 17.
