Lindenwood's women's golf team finished in 10th place out of 17 teams at the UCO Classic hosted by the University of Central Oklahoma.

This was the second straight tournament in which the Lady Lions finished in the 10th position.

Sophomore Madelyn Piccininni finished first on the team for the third straight tournament.  She shot a 153 over the two -day event with a round average of 76.5.  Her 153 was good enough for 23rd overall out of 98 total golfers.

Alanna Haynes finished second on the team with a 160.  Haynes' scoring average was 80, good enough to finish in a tie for 45th.

Julieta Rotzinger rounded out the top-three for Lindenwood finishing in a tie for 59th overall. Rotzinger shot a 164 with a round average of 82. 

The Lady Lions' individual competitor, freshman Noelle Johnston finished in a tie for 67th with a total score of 167.  Her first round 83 was her best so far this season.

The team will be back in action Oct. 14-15 at The Buckaneer in Tunica, Miss.
