Team Standings
The Lindenwood women's golf team fnished sixth out of 11 teams at its first appearance at the MIAA Championships. The Lady Lions shot a 334 in the first round and saw the second round cancelled due to the weather.
Central Oklahoma won the MIAA Championship with a 301. The Lady Lions were just 10 shots behind third-place Northwest Missouri. Aly Seng of Central Oklahoma won medalist honors after shooting a one-under 71.
Abigail Beirne was the top Lindenwood golfer. She tied for 11th-place with a score of 80. Maddy Piccininni backed that score up with an 83 while
Sydney Hawley added an 85. Rounding out Lindenwood's golfers were
Julieta Rotzinger with an 86 and
Alanna Haynes with an 89.
Lindenwood concluded its 2012-13 season with the conference meet. Lindenwood had five top-five finishes on the season, including winning the Lady Lions Invitational back in October.
