The Lindenwood women's golf team finished in a tie for fifth place at the Lindenwood Fall Invitational that was held at Whitmoor Country Club in St. Charles.
 
As a team the Lady Lions shot a two-round total 658, which was four shots behind Missouri Western and nine shots ahead of Upper Iowa. Lindenwood started the tournament with a first round score of 331 and then shot four shots better in round two with a 327.
 
Central Oklahoma was the top finisher in the tournament shooting a 602. The next closest team to the Bronchos was Augustana followed by Concordia St. Paul.
 
Madelyn Piccininni was the top individual finisher for the team placing in 18^th. Piccininni started the tournament shooting an 86 but recovered in round two with a 75.
 
Yolanda Rotzinger was the next highest finisher with a tie for 27^th. Rotzinger started the tournament with an 80 in round one but shot an 86 to finish with a +24.  Alexandra Wheeler and Maggie Bryant finished in a tie for 41^st. 
 
The Lady Lions have completed their fall season and will start back up again in the spring.
