The Lindenwood women's golf team finished in a tie for fifth place at the Lindenwood Fall Invitational that was held at Whitmoor Country Club in St. Charles.

As a team the Lady Lions shot a two-round total 658, which was four shots behind Missouri Western and nine shots ahead of Upper Iowa. Lindenwood started the tournament with a first round score of 331 and then shot four shots better in round two with a 327.

Central Oklahoma was the top finisher in the tournament shooting a 602. The next closest team to the Bronchos was Augustana followed by Concordia St. Paul.

Madelyn Piccininni was the top individual finisher for the team placing in 18
th. Piccininni started the tournament shooting an 86 but recovered in round two with a 75.

Yolanda Rotzinger was the next highest finisher with a tie for 27
th. Rotzinger started the tournament with an 80 in round one but shot an 86 to finish with a +24. Alexandra Wheeler and Maggie Bryant finished in a tie for 41

The Lady Lions have completed their fall season and will start back up again in the spring.
