The Lindenwood women's golf team finished in 9^th place out of 14 teams  at the Las Vegas Desert Classic last weekend. Maddy Piccininni was the highest individual finisher for the Lions finishing in 14^th place.  

As a team, Lindenwood shot a two-round total of 673. The team finished right in front of Pomona-Pitzer and right behind Embry-Riddle. The Lions shot a team total of 342 in round one and improved that score in the final round by 11 strokes.

Piccininni started off the tournament with a first round score of 80 then followed that up with an 82 on day two. Alanna Haynes was the next highest finisher at 32^nd for the Lady Lions with a score of 168. Abigail Beirne, Julieta Rotzinger, and Sydney Hawley rounded out the finishers for Lindenwood with a 43^rd and 47^th respectively.  

Lindenwood will be back in action March 10 at the UCO Kickingbird Classic in Edmond, Okla.
