The Lindenwood women's golf team started its 2014 fall season with the Central Region Fall Preview tournament in Olathe, Kan. The Lady Lions finished in 9^th place out of 12 teams.
 
The Lady Lions shot a two-round total of 640, which was five shots ahead of Nebraska-Kearney and three shots behind Henderson State. Lindenwood started the tournament with a first-round score of 319 and followed that up with a 321 in the final round.
 
Madelyn Piccininni was the Lady Lions highest individual finisher placing in a tie for 5^th place.  Sydney Hawley finished with a 163, which was good for a tie for 20^th.  Alexandra Wheeler and Alanna Haynes both finished right behind Hawley with a 163.
