The Lindenwood women's golf team ended their 2015 fall season with a first-place finish at the Lindenwood Fall Invitational from Whitmoor Country Club in Weldon Springs, Mo. The Lady Lions were the host school for the two-day tournament that wrapped up on Tuesday afternoon.
 
The Lady Lions completed the tournament with a total team score of 621, placing them seven strokes ahead of second-place finisher, Missouri Western. Lindenwood opened the tournament on Monday afternoon with a team score of 308 and followed that up with a score of 313 on Tuesday. The Lady Lion team score of 308 during the first round was a tournament low.
 
Leading the way for Lindenwood was tournament champion Madelyn Piccininni. Piccininni opened up play shooting a 76 during round one, followed by a 74 doing the second round for a total score of 150. Finishing right behind Piccininni in second-place for the tournament was Alanna Haynes. Haynes began the tournament firing a tournament low score of 74 on Monday and followed on Tuesday with a 77 for a total score of 151. Next up for Lindenwood were Dakota Limkemann and Yolanda Rotzinger who posted identical rounds of 79 and 81, seeing them finish with scores of 160. Also competing for Lindenwood was Alex Wheeler who ended the event posting a score of 174.
 
The Lady Lions competed in five tournaments during their fall season, recording four top-five finishes. Lindenwood will tee off their spring season on February 28th with the Las Vegas Desert Classic from Las Vegas, Nev.
