The Lindenwood women's golf team finished fourth at the Holiday Inn Express Classic hosted by Missouri Western on Sunday and Monday.

The Lady Lions were just three shots out of the lead after shooting a 310 during the first round. Lindenwood slipped one spot though after a 338 on the second day. Lindenwood finished with a two-round total of 648. Arkansas Tech won the meet with a 619, followed by Central Oklahoma and Northeastern State.

Yolanda Rotzinger broke 80 each round and finished tied for seventh overall with a 156. Madelyn Piccininni was tied for 12th, just three shots back of Rotzinger. Also for the Lady Lions, Alanna Haynes shot a 166, Sydney Hawley carded a 167, and Alexandra Wheeler had a 178.

Lindenwood will be in action again on April 6-7 at the Henderson State First Federal Invitational in Arkadelphia, Ark.
