The Lindenwood women' golf team had a strong showing at the MIAA Conference Championships in Lawrence, Kan. The Lady Lions finished in second place behind champion Central Oklahoma.

Lindenwood finished in second place after shooting a three-round total of 966. The Lady Lions started the tournament shooting a 331 in the opening round, which put them in third place.

After shooting a 313 on day two Lindenwood moved up to second place. Finally, on day three the team shot a 322, which kept them in second place. The Lady Lions finished four shots ahead of the third place team, Northeastern State.

On the individual side,
Madelyn Piccininni was the top finisher for the team. She shot a three-round total of 238 which was good for a sixth place finish. Finishing right behind her in seventh place was
Alanna Haynes.
Alexandra Wheeler shot a 247 in three rounds placing her in a tie for 13
th. Just two spots behind her was Yolanda Rotzinger after firing a 248.

The Lady Lions have finished their 2015 season and will now wait to see if the team will qualify for the NCAA Regional.
