The Lindenwood women's golf team began their 2015 fall season during a two-day tournament at the UIndy Fall Invitational from Carmel, Ind. The Lady Lions completed play on Tuesday afternoon with a 12th place finish amongst the 16 competing teams.

Lindenwood finished the event with a total team score of 648, landing them six strokes back of St. Mary's University (Texas) and a top-ten finish. Lindenwood completed round one with a total score of 332 strokes. The team improved upon that score by a total of 16 strokes during the second round, wrapping up with 316 strokes. The Lady Lions' second round score of 316 was good for seventh best on the second day of action.Â

Madelyn Piccininni was the highest individual finisher for the Lady Lions, placing t-19th amongst the 89 competing golfers. Piccininni completed the tournament with a total individual score of 155, just five strokes from a top-five finish.
Yolanda Rotzinger was the next highest finisher for Lindenwood with an individual score of 160, landing her t-34th.
Dakota Limkemann,
Alanna Haynes, and
Maggie Bryant rounded out the field for the Lady Lions finishing t-58th, 69th, and 70th, respectively.Â

The Lady Lions will continue their fall season on September 28-29 when they will take part in the MIAA Fall Preview from Jefferson City, Mo.Â
