The Lindenwood women's golf team continued their 2015 fall season at the MIAA Fall Preview in Jefferson City, Mo. With play wrapping up on Tuesday afternoon, the Lady Lions completed the two-day tournament finishing fifth out of the 12 competing teams.
 
Lindenwood finished the event with a total team score of 640, placing them a comfortable 17 strokes in front of sixth-place finisher, Northwest Missouri. Tournament champion Northeastern State ended play with a total of 612 strokes, three strokes in front of second-place Central Oklahoma. The Lady Lions completed the first round of play with a total score of 318 strokes, and the second round with a score of 322.
 
Madelyn Piccininni was the highest individual finisher for the Lady Lions, placing t-7th amongst the 63 competing golfers. Piccininni completed the tournament with a total individual score of 154, just six strokes off of the individual lead. Dakota Limkemann was the next highest finisher for Lindenwood, posting consecutive rounds of 80, placing her t-20th with a total score of 160. Just behind Limkemann was Yolanda Rotzinger who posted a score of 161, landing her t-23rd. Also competing for the Lady Lions were Alanna Haynes and Alexandra Wheeler. Haynes posted a 168 finishing in 32nd place, while Wheeler shot a 173 ending play t-41st.  
 
The Lady Lions will be back in action on October 5th-6th as they travel to Oklahoma City, Okla. to compete in the UCO Classic.
