The Lindenwood women's golf team finished in ninth-place at the RCB Bank Classic hosted by Central Oklahoma. The two round tournament wrapped up on Tuesday afternoon, and featured 16 competing schools and 90 individual golfers.

The Lady Lions opened the tournament with a first round score of 322, placing the team in ninth place after 18 holes of play. Despite lowering its score by three strokes in round two, Lindenwood was unable to move out of ninth-place following its second round score of 319. The Lady Lions finished four strokes behind eighth-place Cameron University, and seven strokes in front of 10th-place Southern Nazarene. St. Edwards University won the tournament by nine strokes over second-place Southwest Oklahoma State.

Josefina Haupt led the way for the Lady Lions, finishing tied for 22nd-place following her two round score of 158. Haupt fired a second round score of 73, besting her first round total by 12 strokes. Haupt tallied six birdies during the tournament, tying for the fourth-highest total among all competing golfers.

Dakota Limkemann finished three strokes behind Haupt, tying for 32nd-place. Limkemann shot rounds of 80 and 81, as she finished with a total score of 161. Limkemann recorded 18 pars during the tournament.

Natalie Long and Maggie Bryant finished one stroke apart, posting scores of 163 and 164, respectively. Long, who tied for 38th-place, poured in a team-leading 19 pars, and had a low score of 78 during the first round. Bryant, who finished in 47th-place, had her best score of 79 come in round one.

Yolanda Rotzinger also competed for the Lady Lions, tying for 60th-place.

Lindenwood will conclude the fall portion of its schedule on October 8-9 at the Maryville Fall Invitational. The two day tournament will be held at Annbriar Golf Club in Waterloo, Ill.
