Two school records were set or tied on Saturday in St. Charles at the first John Creer Outdoor Track and Field Invitational.

Xavier Boland set a new Lindenwood record in the pole vault. He won the event with a mark of 5.11m, which was 0.69m higher than the runner-up jumper. On the women's side,
Anna Tyan tied the school's high jump record. Her top mark was 1.70m, which just edged out the second-place finisher by 0.05m.

Lindenwood won seven other events at the event. On the men's side,
Michael Mlambo won the long jump,
Alex Armstrong was first in the javelin,
Ero Doce had the fastest time in the 1500m, and the men's 4x400 wrapped up the running events with a victory.

On the women's side,
Kendra Smith won the triple jump,
Erin Hodge took first in the 100m hurdles, and
Anna-Lena Theisen won the 800m.

Both Lindenwood programs finished second at their meet. The women's team had a score of 96 points, while the men's team collected 99 points.

Also over the weekend, several distance runners ran in the Washington Invitational. The top finisher was Michael Golian who came in 11th in the men's 5,000m.
