The Lindenwood track and field teams both finished second on Saturday in a tri-meet at SIU-Edwardsville.

On the men's side, Lindenwood collected 46 points, and the women's team had 50 points. SIU-Edwardsville won both team competitions, and Lincoln finished third.

The men's team won five events on the day. On the track,
Ero Doce won the 400m with a time of 1:56.28, and
Omar Es Salmouny won the 1,500m with a time of 3:54.24.
Akintunde Akinyemi won the high jump with a mark of 2.02m.
Bryce Tognozzi had a gold medal performance in the pole vault with a mark of 4.30m.
Alex Armstrong had the final victory, taking first in the javelin with a mark of 55.88m.

The women's team had three first-place performances.
Erin Hodge was first in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.45.
Anna Tyan improved her high jump NCAA provisional mark by clearing 1.71m.
Amanda Parker was first in the pole vault with a mark of 2.90m.
