The Lindenwood women's track and field teams won seven events and had 20 top-three finishes on Saturday at the John Craft Invitational in Charleston, Ill.

Lindenwood was led by its women's sprint team and junior
Ariel Jackson Jackson swept the 60m and 200m races, and was a member of the 4x400 relay team which took home first-place. The other members of that relay team were
Regina Huesca-Barrales,
Miya Dorsey, and
Erin Hodge.

Huesca-Barrales was the champion in the 400m, just edging out Dorsey. Hodge was the runner-up in the 60m hurdles, finished ahead of Dorsey.

In the field events for the women,
Hannah Jachino was the pole vault, and
Amanda Parker was second in that event.
Anna Tyan was second in the high jump, and
Allison Hinson was runner-up in the shot put.
Emily Montgomery had the third-longest throw in the weight throw.

On the men's side,
Jerod Broadbooks won the 3,000m race, and
Xavier Boland took home gold in the pole vault.
Michael Mlambo had two runner-up finishes in the 60m and 200m sprints, and was a member of the second-place 4x400 relay team. Other members of that team were Zach McKinley,
Ero Doce, and Keiondre Jordan. Also on the track,
Austin Crowe was second in the 3,000m behind Broadbooks.

Other field place winners were
Akintunde Akinyemi tying for second in the high jump, and Bumnene Ndebele coming in third in the triple jump.

Lindenwood's top athletes will be at the Kansas Relays next week, while the rest of the team competes at the Principia Relays.
