The Lindenwood women's golf team finished in fourth place at the Saluki Invitational in Carbondale, Ill. on Sunday.
Maggie Bryant completed the two-round tournament in fifth place to lead the Lions.
Lindenwood began the single-day tournament with a first-round score of 322, before firing a 315 over the final round of play. The Lions completed the event in fourth place with a score of 637, two strokes ahead of Navy and Fort Wayne, who both tied for fifth place. IUPUI won the tournament with a score of 617.
Bryant had a team-low score of 71 during the first round, and shot a 150 over her two rounds to secure a fifth-place finish for the Lions. Bryant fired six birdies and 23 pars over her two rounds, leading Lindenwood in both categories.
Josefina Haupt tied for 23
rd place following a score of 161.
Reagan Snavely shot a 164, while
Dakota Limkemann and
Yolanda Rotzinger both shot scores of 165. Snavely tied for 31
st place, while Limkemann and Rotzinger tied for 35
th place.
Kayleigh Stevens Perez,
Alexandra Wheeler, and
Natalie Long all competed as individuals for the Lions.
Lindenwood will return to action on March 31 at the Maryville Spring Invitational in Maryland Heights, Mo.
