The Lindenwood women's golf team took second place at the NCAA Regional Tournament in St. Charles, Mo. and was one of three teams to qualify for next week's National Championships in Houston, Texas. The Lions finished the three-round event with a score of 900 and have qualified for the National Championships for the first time in program history.
Lindenwood posted scores of 305, 293, and 302 during its three rounds of play to bring its total score to 900 for the tournament. Lindenwood had two of its three best single-round scores of the season this week during its second and third rounds. The Lions finished 10 strokes behind first-place, Augustana, and were two strokes ahead of third-place, Arkansas Tech.

Haupt tied for second place at the tournament with a three-round score of 219. After completing the first two rounds under par, Haupt concluded the tournament with a final-round score of 78. Haupt sank 35 pars and 10 birdies over her 54 holes of play.
Limkemann took eighth place at the event, shooting her lowest single-round score of the season, a 73 during the final round of play. Limkemann had nine birdies over her three rounds.
Maggie Bryant tied for 24th place with a three-round score of 229. Bryant had 36 pars for the tournament.
Rotzinger tied for 30th place overall and also tied for the tournament-lead with 39 pars over three rounds.
Snavely landed in 59th place.
Lindenwood will now travel to Bay Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas for the National Championships on May 16-19.
