The Lindenwood women's golf team finished in a tie for ninth place at the William Beall Fall Classic in Findlay, Ohio. The Lions shot a three-round score of 932, with a 307 in the final round of the tournament.
OVERVIEW
McKenna Montgomery led the team with a 226, as she finished the two-day tournament in a tie for 11th place. Montgomery posted an 80 in her first round, but fired a 71 in the second round to climb in the standings. Montgomery posted five birdies in her second round, including a span of three straight near the end of her round.
Addasyn Zeller was just three strokes behind Montgomery overall, as she finished in a tie for 19th place with a score of 229. Zeller was closed out her week with a 74 in the final round, as she was below par on four different holes.
In all, Lindenwood ranked fourth with a team total of 23 birdies across three rounds. Zeller tied for fourth among the field with eight birdies, while Montgomery registered seven birdies over the two days.
