The Lindenwood women's golf team finished in fourth place at the Triton Invitational in St. Louis, Mo., while
Josefina Haupt ended the two-day tournament in a tie for fifth place.

DAY TWO OVERVIEW
Lindenwood posted a 19-stroke improvement from the first round to the second, completing the 36-hole tournament with a final score of 647. Haupt led the Lions in scoring with a two-round scorecard of 155, while
Noelia Rodriguez Chicote tied for 18
th with a 160 across the two rounds.

Haupt, Rodriguez Chicote, and
Alexis Montgomery each registered a score of 78 on Tuesday. The Lions tied for second in birdies scored with 15 total during the tournament, while Haupt tied for second among the field of 94 golfers. Of the eight Lindenwood golfers at the tournament, six marked better scores in the second round including Montgomery who improved by 13 strokes to tie for 38th place.

DAY ONE OVERVIEW
Lindenwood registered a 333 in the first round, as the Lions were18 strokes back of the leader and host school in Missouri-St. Louis after one round. Haupt registered three birdies on Sunday, as her score of 77 was just three strokes off the leader of the field. Rodriguez Chicote shot a 38 on the back nine of the course, as her round total of 82 was tied for 19th place.Â
Rumbidazai Chisango competed as an individual, and registered a score of 83 to tie for 23rd after the first round. Lindenwood compiled eight birdies as a team, which was second in the field. Haupt shot an average score of 3.00 on par-3 holes which was tied for the tournament lead.
