The Lindenwood women's golf team took second at the Screaming Eagles Invitational on Monday in Evansville, Ind. The Lions shot a 631, which was just two shots back from the top team.
OVERVIEW
Lindenwood compiled the lowest round in the tournament with a 309 on Monday, which was 13-stokes better than the 322 on Sunday.
Noelia Rodriguez Chicote posted a two-round score of 153 to finish in a tie for second place. Rodriguez Chicote fired scores of 78 and 75, respectively, to earn the best tournament score on the squad.
Alexis Montgomery tallied a 77 in round one, before marking a 78 in the second round to finish in a tie for fifth place with a 155.

McKenna Montgomery each put together a four-stroke improvement in the second round, as they finished in the top-10.
Alexis Montgomery tied for first in the field with a total of five birdies over the 36-hole tournament. Oertel competed as an individual, as she had the third-best score for Lindenwood.
