The Lions traveled east to the Hoosier Hills Invitational to compete against mostly NCAA Division I competition and came away with four race wins and several podium finishes and three new school records on the day.
On the women's side
Olivia Alexandre established a new school record in the 400 meters. She competed in the "Fast Section", and deservedly so, her time of 56.21, was almost a second better than her personal best and broke the previous record set back in 2018. Also,
Rachael Morrison became the first Lindenwood women to break the five minute mark with her 4:58.61 mark in the mile run, setting a new school record while finishing the race in fifth place
Samuel Yaro continues his terrific senior season setting a new school record in the 400 meters in his win in the 400 Meter Dash Fast Section in a time of 47.49. That breaks the old record that has stood since 2005. Yaro also anchored the winning 4 x 400 relay team that won as well and their time of 3:13.11 is now second in school history.
