The Lions track and field teams sent a small contingent of athletes to compete in the Redhawk Invite in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The Lindenwood group consisted of athletes competing in field events against mostly Division I competition and saw some quality performances including a personal best in the weight throw from Ashley Shoemake who placed 8^th on the day.

Women's Top Performances

• Weight Throw – Ashley Shoemake (15.75) – 8^th place and new personal best and still 5^th best in school history

Men's Top Performances

• Long Jump – Jarom Alexander (6.46m) – 3^rd place; Chad Casey (6.18m) – 4^th place
• Weight Throw – Logan Kulinski (18.69m) – 4^th place

Lindenwood will spend the next week preparing for the two-day GLVC Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana starting on Friday, February 25.
