The Lindenwood women's golf team, ranked seventh in the most recent NCAA East Regional rankings, placed sixth on Tuesday in its first tournament of the spring season. The Lions shot 640 (322, 318) at the Natural State Golf Classic in Cabot, Ark., led by junior
Noelia Rodriguez Chicote's top-10 finish.

No. 14 Rogers State (301, 301) claimed the tournament title by eight strokes, while fellow East regional member Missouri-St. Louis (314, 314) finished fourth overall and the individual medalist in Linn Thornqvist (72, 73).

TOURNAMENT OVERVIEW
Rodriguez Chicote (73, 81) carded six birdies during the two-round tournament, which ranked third among all individuals. The Valencia, Spain, product also tallied the sixth-best score on par 4s, averaging 4.20 on such holes.

McKenna Montgomery (77, 79) secured the fifth top-20 performance of her senior campaign on Tuesday, finishing just two strokes shy of the team lead. Overall, Montgomery's 156 marked the second-best two-round score of the season.

Addasyn Zeller (85, 76),
Alexis Montgomery (87, 82), and
Lillian Schlemmer (90, 88) rounded out the Lions' lineup, while
Kassidy Hull (87, 81) tied for 56th as an individual. The rookie's 81 is the lowest round of her young career.
