The Lindenwood women's golf program (335, 308) stormed back into the top five on Tuesday at the Midwest Intercollegate Invitational, shooting the best team score of the day to finish in fourth place after sharing seventh on Monday.
McKenna Montgomery (78, 74) carded a +2 in the 36-hole event, tying for the individual medal with Central Missouri's Nicole Rallo.
The Jennies (313, 310) won the tournament by a single stroke over Central Oklahoma (312, 312), while GLVC counterpart William Jewell (338, 328) placed eighth as a unit. Rockhurst (346, 340), Drury (350, 341), and Quincy (361, 345) finished 12th, 13th, and 16th, respectively.
Montgomery's second-round 74 was the round of the afternoon, as she finished with an eight-over 152.
