The Lindenwood women's golf team (959) capped its regular spring slate with a successful second-place finish at the UMSL Spring Invitational on Monday from Norwood Hill Country Club in St. Louis.
McKenna Montgomery (231) led the Lions once again, following up her individual medalist performance with a top-three showing at Norwood Hills.
Kassidy Hull (242) and
Addasyn Zeller (243) joined Montgomery in the top 20 in the 91-player field.
Missouri-St. Louis (915) led wire-to-wire at its own event, defeating runner-up Lindenwood by 44 strokes. Fellow GLVC members McKendree and Drury rounded out the top five, while six individuals from the league riddled the leaderboard.
The Lions fielded a second team, which placed 12th, and one individual in the event.
