The Lindenwood women's golf (936) ended its 2022 spring campaign with a sixth-place finish at the NCAA DII East Regional tournament on Wednesday evening. The Lions finished just on the outside of advancing programs, as the top-five teams and top-two individuals will now compete at the DII Championships Chattachoochee Golf Club in Gainesville, Ga.
McKenna Montgomery (+10) tied for ninth on the individual leaderboard, shooting a 223 over 54 holes.
Addasyn Zeller (+23) also placed in the top 30, carding a 236 across the three-day event. It was the Lions' first trip to the regional tournament since 2019 when they placed eighth at the Central Regional. The complete results can be found

Findlay (873) dominated the event, defeating GLVC-member UIndy (900) by 27 strokes. Tiffin (916) and Grand Valley (921) also advanced to the DII Championships, while Missouri-St. Louis (924) rounded out the top five. Malone's Christina Williams (+8) and Northwood's Ines Dorado (+10) earned the pair of individual selections for the national tournament, with the latter edging out Montgomery in a playoff following the third round.
