On Friday and Saturday, Lindenwood men's and women's track and field teams traveled to the University of Illinois to compete in the Illini Challenge.
The Lions had three third-place finishes, two-second place finishes on the weekend, and a first-place finish in the women's 4x400-meter relay.
 
Women's Top Performances
4x400 Meter – Rosette Hoyte, Jessica Markel, Gabby Russina, Martina Martínez – placed 1^st.
 
Men's Top Performances
200 Meter – Hugo Vázquez (22.77) – placed 3^rd.
800 Meter – Maxime Touron (1:54.31) – placed 3^rd.
3000 Meter – Anders Hekkli (8:53.53) – placed 2^nd.
60 Meter Hurdles – Hugo Vázquez (8.28) – placed 3^rd.
4x400 Meter – Boris Charles, Brody Hudson, Maxime Touron, Romon Logan – placed 2^nd.
