Lindenwood athletics has announced season ticket deposits are now being accepted for the 2023-24 Lindenwood men's ice hockey season. Fans can place their $50 (per seat) deposits by visiting
luboxoffice.com. or calling the Lindenwood box office at 636-949-4433. Fans placing their deposit for the 2023-24 season will be securing their place in line to select their seat this summer ahead of the general public. The first 100 fans to put a deposit down will be given priority access to ticket options for the 2024 NCAA Division I men's hockey regional to be held at Centene Community Ice Center March 1-5, 2024.
The 2023-24 home schedule will feature 12 games inside Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, Mo.
The Lions will open the home slate on November 10-11 in a two-game series against the Augustana Vikings. The Vikings will be in their first NCAA Division I season in 2023-24 as a member of the Central College Hockey Association (CCHA).
Lindenwood will host the Long Island University (LIU) Sharks in a pair of games a week later. LIU, who is an NCAA Division I independent, will be in their fourth year as a Division I program in 2023-24.
After three-consecutive road series, Lindenwood will return to the Centene Community Ice Center in the beginning of January, taking on the Western Michigan University Broncos. Western Michigan holds a record of 19-10-1 in 2022-23, garnering the nations No. 8 ranking. The Broncos, who are a member of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) made an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2022.
The Lions, who swept the Stonehill Skyhawks this past weekend will also face them at home next season. That series will take place on January 26-27 inside Centene Community Ice Center.
Lindenwood will then host Alaska Anchorage in mid-February. The final home series on the schedule for Lindenwood in 2023-24 will be against Alaska Fairbanks on March 8-9, 2024.
Lindenwood has opened some eyes during its first NCAA Division I season with highlights including erasing a four-goal deficit to defeat Air Force 7-6 on October 14. Lindenwood has also earned a series sweep of Army and Stonehill, while picking up victories over Bentley and Vermont during the 2022-23 campaign. The Lions have been completive on the ice this season, dropping one-goal games to the defending National Champion, Denver as well as North Dakota and Wisconsin, respectively.
