The Lindenwood women's golf team opened up the season this week at the MSU/Payne Stewart Memorial, finishing 15
th after shooting a 954 as a team.
OVERVIEW
In round one, the Lions were led by
Noelia Rodriguez Chicote who shot a 76. Chicote shot an even par on the front nine, aided by seven birdies. Not far behind her was
Paula Mariana Sanchez who carded a 77 in round one. The Ibague, Colombia native shot a one-under on the first nine holes.
Kassidy Hull paced Lindenwood in round two, shooting a 76.
Andrea Alvarez and Rodriguez Chicote each had two birdies during the second 18, most among Lindenwood golfers. The Lions saved their best round for last, shooting a 311 as a team. Rodriguez Chicote carded a 75 across the final 18, including three birdies in the last four holes.
