The Lindenwood women's golf team concluded the Coyote Creek Classic on Monday, with a team score of 975.
OVERVIEW
The Lions opened the tournament with a team score of 319 led by
Jamie Daniels who shattered her collegiate low with a 73. Her round included 13 pars and a pair of birdies.
Andrea Alvarez and
Meredith Colby each recorded a birdie during the opening round and shot a 79 and 83, respectively.
Lindenwood followed up with a 326 in round two led by Alvarez who carded a 78. Coming in just behind her was Daniels and
Paula Mariana Sanchez who each carded an 81. Daniels had a pair of birdies during the second round, moving her total to four after 36 holes. After day one, Lindenwood sat in seventh place.
The final round saw Lindenwood record a team score of 330, led by Alvarez who shot a 78.
Isabella Buckley had her best round of the tournament, playing as an individual, compiling a 79. Daniels and Sanchez each carded an 83 during the final round. Colby had a team-high two birdies in the final round.
