ST. CHARLES, Mo. - Lindenwood beach volleyball has released their 2025 schedule for the upcoming spring season as they enter their third season in the Ohio Valley Conference. The Lions are coming off their best season in program history where they went 16-10 on their way to an OVC Championship match appearance.

"We have grown so much as a program in our short two year history," said head coach Alexandra Duckworth. "I'm very excited for our schedule going into year three. We have great balance of competition before heading into OVC play that will allow us to gain confidence while being tested. I'm happy to have two home matches where we can showcase our hard work for the Lindenwood community. The support for the program is growing and we are excited to bring some great beach volleyball competition to campus."

For the third consecutive season, the Lions will start the season in Ozark, Missouri at the Missouri State Tournament. This two day event will take place on Feb. 21st and wrap up the following day on the 22nd. LU will take on Hendrix and Park to start the weekend followed by matches against Missouri State and Southwest Baptist on the 22nd.

Lindenwood will make the trip back to the Ozarks the following weekend for the Beach Bear Bash hosted by MO State. The Lions will play Hendrix and Missouri State on Feb. 28th before taking on Central Arkansas and Southwest Baptist on March 1st.

Starting on March 7th, Lindenwood will compete at the Govs Classic hosted on the campus of Austin Peay in Clarksville, Tenn. This two-day competition will have four matches over a stretch of two days. Teams in the field will be revealed at a later date.

After a non-conference match at McKendree (March 15th), Lindenwood will travel to Martin, Tenn. for the first OVC Weekend of the season. LU will play two matches on March 21st and two on March 22nd against UT Martin, Chattanooga, Tennessee Tech and Morehead State. The order of matches and times are TBA.

Lindenwood will host two matches this season at the Evans Volleyball Courts located right outside Hyland Arena. LU will take on McKendree on Saturday, April 12th starting at 1:00 p.m. CT. The Lions will also take on OVC-opponent Eastern Illinois for a home and away match in 2025. Times and dates for those matches are TBD.

The final OVC Weekend of the season will take place on Friday, April 18th and Saturday, April 19th in Morehead, Ky. Lindenwood again will take on four OVC schools throughout the two-day event. The season will come to a conclusion the following week at the OVC Championships in Chattanooga, Tenn. starting on Thursday, April 24th.
