The Lindenwood women's golf team finished in 12
th place with a team score of 643 at the Ozark National Invitational in Hollister, Mo.
OVERVIEW
The Lions opened the first round with a team score of 339.
Andrea Alvarez led the way, carding an 80, which put her in a tie fir 18
th place after the first 18 holes. Alvarez had a solid front nine, shooting one over.
Paula Mariana Sanchez also had a strong first nine holes, shooting two over.
Laura Sanchez led the Lions with two birdies during the first 18. Overall, the Lions had the fourth-best team average on par 3s in round one at 3.44.
Lindenwood improved its teams score by 25 strokes in round two, firing a 304.
Noelia Rodriguez Chicote led the way, shooting an even par 72, which included three birdies. Finishing just behind her was
Andrea Alvarez who registered a 76, and she also used three birdies to get to that score.
Paula Mariana Sanchez finished her round with a 77, while
Laura Sanchez carded a 79 and
Jamie Daniels rounded out the lineup with an 88.
