The Lindenwood women's golf team totaled a team score of 950 at the Payne Stewart Memorial, coming in 11
th place at the season-opening tournament in Springfield, Mo.
OVERVIEW
Lindenwood compiled a team score of 311 across the first round, led by freshman
Isabella Buckley who fired a 75, which included 11 pars. Coming in just behind her was
Andrea Alvarez with a 76.
Jamie Daniels had a solid front nine with three birdies.
Paula Marina Sanchez recorded a second round 76 and shot one over on the front nine. Buckley, Daniels, and
Meredith Colby each tallied a birdie across the second 18. Overall, Lindenwood carded a 326 team score. After two rounds, the Lions sat in 11
th place with an overall score of 637.
The Black & Gold improved their team score by 13 strokes in round three, registering a 313. Colby led the way with a 75, which included 14 pars. Daniels and Sanchez each closed out the final 18 with a 77.
