The Lindenwood women's golf team finished the Brittany Kelly Classic in seventh place, compiling a team score of 942 after the three-round tournament at The Players Club at Woodland Trails in Yorktown, Ind.
OVERVIEW
Lindenwood opened the tournament shooting 314 as a team. That effort was led by
Jamie Daniels who carded a 76, including a pair of birdies. Coming in just behind her was
Meredith Colby who shot 78 and Sophia Leffler with a 79. Individually,
Andrea Alvarez began her junior campaign with a 75, including a team-high three birdies.
The Lions followed up with a 311 in round two, paced by both Daniels and Colby with a 77. Coming in just behind them was
Paula Mariana Sanchez who finished the second 18 shooting 78, while
Isabella Buckley registered a 79. After two rounds, Lindenwood sat in seventh place.
In the third round, Lindenwood compiled a team score of 317 led by Daniels with a 77, which included a pair of birdies on the back nine.
Sophia Lefler and
Isabella Buckley came in just behind her with a 79.
Meredith Colby and
Paula Mariana Sanchez rounded out the lineup with an 82.
Andrea Alvarez had another solid round as an individual, finishing her tournament with a 77.
