The Lindenwood track and field team returned to action on Friday at the Show-Me Showdown in Columbia, Mo.
Chanel Honeywell had a big day finishing first in the 200m, while taking third in the 60m dash.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
60m Dash –
Chanel Honeywell placed third with a time of 7.59
200m Dash -
Chanel Honeywell took the top spot with a time of 24.10
60m Hurdles – Two Lions finished inside the top seven.
Kinsey Dueker placed sixth with a time of 9.16 and
Taylor Oliver took seventh with a time of 9.22.
Pole Vault –
Alessandra Obrist finished on the podium, tying for third with a mark of 3.38.
Long Jump – Both
Christelle Barafundi and Dueker finished inside the top five. Barafundi took third with a distance of 5.67m and Dueker took fifth with a mark of 5.26m
Triple Jump –
Mary Elliott had another strong finish in the event, placing third at 11.43m
Shot Put –
Aliyah Robertson threw 12.63m, taking third.
Avery Shaw also placed in the top 10, finishing ninth with a mark of 10.85m
Weight Throw – Both Robertson and Shaw PR'd on the way to solid finishes. Robertson took eighth at 14.44m, while Shaw finished 14
th with a throw of 12.42m
