The Lindenwood track and field squad competed at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational this weekend in Louisville, Ky. alongside some of the best programs in the country. The Lions set multiple PR's and season bests.
TOP PERFORMERS
60m Dash –
Chanel Honeywell tied a season-best and PR in the 60, placing sixth with a time of 7.52.
200m Dash –
Chanel Honeywell crossed the line with a time of 23.86, which is a new PR and the 49
th best time in all of Division I to date. Christell Barafundi finished 27
th with a season best of 25.60
3000m –
Olivia Pearce PR'd with a time of 11:23.72
5000m –
Makenna Smith set a new PR with a time of 18:45.49
Long Jump –
Christelle Barafundi locked up a top 20 finish, jumping 5.55m, good for 19
th place
One Mile Run –
Anna Drochelman set a new PR with a time of 5:26.47.
Kadence Berry also set a season best in the event, coming in at 5:30.15
Pole Vault –
Alessandra Obrist set a new season best, clearing 3.42m
4x400 relay – The team of
Chanel Honeywell,
Nyah Hope,
Taylor Oliver, and
Christelle Barafundi set a new season best by nearly 10 seconds with a time of 3:57.29

The Lions will split up next weekend and send athletes to the Bearcat Invitational and the Mizzou Invitational on February 6-7.
