For the third time this season, Chanel Honeywell of the Lindenwood track and field team has earned OVC Track Athlete of the Week honors.

Honeywell was outstanding at the Mizzou Invitational this past weekend, competing in the 60-and 200-meter dash. In the 60, she placed second among 35 competitors with a time of 7.57 seconds.

Honeywell did even better in the 200, crossing the line with a time of 23.83 seconds which was a PR and good for first place among 30 others. That time was also the top time in the OVC and the second-best time in program history.

Honeywell and the rest of the Lions will be back in action on Friday, February 20^th at the Redhawks Invite in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
