The Lindenwood track and field team split up and competed at both the Bearcat Invitational and the Mizzou Invitational on Friday.
Bearcat Highlights
60m Hurdles –
Kinsey Dueker set a PR with a time of 8.82, taking first place
High Jump – Dueker and
Mireya Simpson tied for the top spot at 1.58m. For Dueker, it was a season-best
Shot Put – Dueker took fourth with a mark of 10.44m, while Simpson finished ninth at 9.86 which is a season best
Long Jump – Dueker continued her strong run, Pring in the long jump at 5.49m which was good for first place
800m – Dueker took sixth with a time of 2:34.53 which was a PR
Indoor Pentathlon – Dueker set a new school record in the event with a total of 3552
Mizzou Highlights
60m Dash –
Chanel Honeywell finished second with a time of 7.57
200m Dash – Honeywell took first with a PR in the 200, crossing the line in 23.83 seconds
400m Dash –
Nyah Hope finished seventh with a big PR of 58.32
Mile Run –
Makenna Smith finished 13
th with a time of 5:23.42 which was a PR.
Olivia Pearce also PR'd with a time of 5:39.18
60m Hurdles –
Taylor Oliver came in sixth place, crossing the line with a time of 9.00
Long Jump –
Christelle Barafundi came in fifth at 5.62m
Shot Put –
Aliyah Robertson finished fifth with a mark of 12.84

The Lions will head to the Redhawks Open on Friday, February 20 in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
