The Lindenwood track and field team had a strong showing at the Little Rock invitational this weekend in Little Rock, Ark. The Lions finished in third place with a total of 105 points. Kendall Klewer, Aliyah Robertson, Lilly Peters, and the 4x100m relay team all earned first in an event.

TOP PERFORMANCES
100m Hurdles – Two Lions finished inside the top five. Mireya Simpson took third with a time of 14.77. Taylor Oliver took fifth with a time of 15.04.

400m Hurdles – Ashantae Brown set a season best with a time of 1:05.78, finishing sixth. Gabriella Evangelista De La Rosa recorded a new PR, crossing the line in 1:06.17, finishing eighth.

100m – Chanel Honeywell took eighth with a time of 12.34. Kristen Hendricks crossed the line in 12.41, finishing 10^th.

200m – Chanel Honeywell set a new PR with a time of 23.86, earning 3^rd place. Five other Lions set PR's in the event: Neo Bourn, Dania Crery, Nyah Hope, Kristen Hendricks, and Jyrah Powell

800m – Anna Drochelman took second with a time of 2:22.73.

3000m Steeple - Jenna Ramadan finished second with a time of 12:29.33

Triple Jump – Mary Elliott and Mireya Simpson recorded PR's in the event. Elliott finished second with a mark of 11.62. Simpson took sixth at 11.04m

Javelin Throw – Kendall Klewer became the second Lion in as many meets to take the top spot in the Javelin Thow with a mark of 46.43, which was a PR. Josey Roe finished second at 40.32.

Pole Vault – Alessandra Obrist took third, clearing a height of 3.25m

Hammer Throw – Kendall Klewer, Aliyah Robertson, and Avery Shaw all set new PR's at 34.95, 34.27, and 33.71, finishing 13^th, 14^th and 15^th, respectively. 

Discus Throw – Lilly Peters took first with a mark of 36.32m. Avery Shaw grabbed third at 35.45m

4x100m Relay – The team of Dania Creary, Chanel Honeywell, Kristen Hendricks, and Christelle Barafundi took first with a time of 47.91

Long Jump – Christelle Barafundi took seventh and Mary Elliott took 10^th

High Jump – Mireya Simpson took fourth at 1.55m

Shot Put – Aliyah Robertson took first with a mark of 13.84m. Avery Shaw finished sixth at 11.00m
