The Lindenwood men's golf team shot three-over par for the tournament at the Derral Foreman Invitational and finished four as a team in a tight battle with three NCAA programs.
The Lions finished with a team score of 579 after rounds of 289 and 290. They finished within eight strokes of North Alabama, Troy State, and Arkansas Tech.
Richard Docherty was the leading individual for the Lions tying for second overall with a six-under 138. He shot one under in day one of the event before carding a 67 on Saturday.
Morgan Leigh was one-over and tied for 12th overall.
Lourens Kleynhaus shot a 147,
Paul Colditz finished with a 152 and
Alex Hauser shot 153 over the two rounds.
