Lindenwood men's golfer
Paul Colditz shot two rounds under par to lead the Lions at the Mt. Mercy Classic over the weekend. Colditz opened the event with a one-under 71 and then shot a five-under 67 on Sunday. His final score of 138 placed him second at the tournament, one shot behind the medalist.
The Lions shot rounds of 292 and 300 as a team and tied for fourth out of 24 teams. Lourens Kleynhans and
Brad Blair tied for second on the team after both shot a 150.
Richard Docherty was tied for 45th with a 154, and
Danny Jones shot a 161 and tied for 90th.
The tournament's highlight came from Lindenwood's junior varsity team during Saturday's first round. Matt Loewen shot a hole-in-one on the par 3 14th hole. In the next group through the hole, teammate
Alex Hauser duplicated the feat by also acing the hole.
