The Lindenwood men's golf team finished tied for fifth at the Missouri Intercollegiate. The event was the first for the Lions during the fall portion of their 2010-11 season.
The Lions were in fourth place and just 10 shots behind the leader after shooting a 308 on day one of the event. The team slipped back a bit after closing the tournament with a 319.
Morgan Leigh had a top ten finish after coming in sixth with a 150. He shot a two-over 74 in the first round and was four-over on Wednesday.
Richard Docherty was 25th with a two-round score of 155, and teammate
Greg MacAulay opened up his Lindenwood career with a 157, which placed him 33rd.
Rounding out the team was
Paul Colditz, who shot a 165, and
Brad Blair, who carded a 171. Both players shot a 78 in the first round but fell back during the final round.
