Men's Golf Finishes Tied for Fifth at Missouri Intercollegiate

The Lindenwood men's golf team finished tied for fifth at the Missouri Intercollegiate. The event was the first for the Lions during the fall portion of their 2010-11 season.

The Lions were in fourth place and just 10 shots behind the leader after shooting a 308 on day one of the event. The team slipped back a bit after closing the tournament with a 319.

Morgan Leigh had a top ten finish after coming in sixth with a 150. He shot a two-over 74 in the first round and was four-over on Wednesday.

Richard Docherty was 25th with a two-round score of 155, and teammate Greg MacAulay opened up his Lindenwood career with a 157, which placed him 33rd.

Rounding out the team was Paul Colditz, who shot a 165, and Brad Blair, who carded a 171. Both players shot a 78 in the first round but fell back during the final round.
