The Lindenwood men's golf team finished in second place at the Southwest Baptist Invitational in Bolivar, Mo. which ended Tuesday afternoon. Lindenwood finished just five strokes behind the top squad, Central Missouri.

After round one the Lions were just one shot behind Central Missouri after shooting a 282. In the final round, the Mules shot 291 which was four better than Lindenwood's 295.

Individually, the Lions were led by Oscar Isacsson who shot a two-round total of 142 and finished in second place. Paul Colditz and Patrick Harrell also finished in the top 10 placing fifth and ninth respectively. Richard Docherty and Erik Isacsson rounded out the Lions golfers finishing tied for 18th.

Up next for the Lions is the TVA Credit Union Classic in Florence, Ala. On Oct. 17-18.
