Lindenwood Golfers Sweep Individual Titles At Spring Hill Badger Invitational

The Lindenwood golf teams swept the individual titles at the Spring Hill Badger Invitational. The women's team also won the team title, while the men's squad was second in the team standings.

The Lady Lions shot a 684 for the tournament and won by 11 shots. They had just a three shot lead after the first round and pulled away in the final 18 holes.

Megan Burgess won the individual title with a 158. She won the event by five strokes and had the low score each day with rounds of 77 and 81. Three other Lions finished in the top 10 in Marcella Ax, Julieta Rotzinger, and Kasey McCammack. Ax tied for third with a 169, Rotzinger was eighth with a 175, and McCammack was 10th with a 183. Rounding out the team was Justine Decock who finished 14th with a 189.

The Lions shot a 606 for the event and finished seven shots behind the team champion. The298 they shot in the second round tied for the best team round of the tournament.

Erik Isacsson tied for medalist honors with a 147. Both he and Lindenwood's junior varsity golfer Paul Colditz shot rounds of 75 and 72. Greg MacAulay tied for ninth with a total of 151. Morgan Leigh was tied for 13th with a 153. Other varsity team scores were Brad Blair with a 159 and Richard Docherty with a 160.
