The Lindenwood men's golf team finished in a tie for ninth out of 15 teams at the TVA Credit Union Invite with rounds of 318, 296, and 295 on Monday and Tuesday.
Oscar Isacsson led the five-man team with a 17
th place finishing after three back-to-back rounds in the 70's. Every round he improved, shooting a 76 in the first round, followed by a 74 and a two-under 70 in round three. His brother
Eric Isacsson finished second on the squad, following up a round one 86 with back-to-back 70's.
Greg MacAulay turned in rounds of 75, 76 and 81, finishing in a tie for 50
th place.
Patrick Harrell carded an 82, 86, and 77 to be in a tie for 58
th place and
Greg Phillips rounded out the squad with rounds of 85, 81, and 78 for a 72
nd place finish.
North Alabama won the tournament as a team, shooting a three-round total of 860. Rollins finished six strokes behind them for second and Columbus State finished in third with an 867.
Scott Lamb of Rollins earned medalist honors in the tournament by six strokes, shooting a 10-under 206.
The TVA Credit Union Invite wrapped up the fall season for the Lions. Lindenwood will start the spring season on March 16 and 17 at the Northern Kentucky Spring Classic.
