After the first round of the Dave Falconer Memorial Invitational, the Lindenwood men's golf team was tied for the tournament lead. But on day two, the Lions could not hold onto their lead and finished in second place one shot behind the tournament winner, Northeastern State.
The opening round ended with all five of the Lindenwood golfers within eight shots of the individual leader. The final round wasn't so kind to the Lions. Lindenwood shot a team score of 294 in round two which was eight shots more than its round one total.
Paul Colditz and
Greg MacAulay both finished in second place in the individual side of the tournament after falling to East Central's Dakota Robbins in a two-hole playoff. Colditz and MacAulay shot a two-round total of 142.
Richard Docherty finished 14
th with a total of 147 while
Brad Blair and
Oscar Isacsson both shot a total of 150.
The Lions will be right back in action on Thursday when they compete in the Southeast Kentucky Intercollegiate Tournament in London, Ky.
