The Lindenwood men's golf team finished fourth on Saturday at the Derrall Foreman Invitational in Cleveland, Miss.
Lindenwood shot a two-round score of 581 and was just five-over par for the tournament. The Lions were one of three teams to shot even par or better in the first round, and they finished the tournament with a five-over 293.
Greg MacAulay led Lindenwood by shooting a seven-under for the tournament. He was three-under during Friday's first round and carded one shot better on Saturday. He finished fourth overall and was just one shot out of second place.
Erik Isacsson and came in 13th after shooting two straight rounds of even par.
Matt Loewen and
Oscar Isacsson were both six-over for the event and placed 24th.
Greg Phillips rounded out the team with an eight-over 152.
Lindenwood's B-team came in sixth with a two-day score of 591.
Jake Smock led that squad with a 147. Other scores were William Feltmate with a 147,
Patrick Harrell with a 149, and
Ryan Amos with a 151.
Union University won the tournament with a two-round score of 542, and Union's Brett Barry won the individual medalist honors with a 14-under 130.
Lindenwood will be in action again on Sept. 24-25 at the Northeastern State Classic.
