The Lindenwood men's golf team finished in ninth place out of a total of 20 teams at the Heart of American Invitational hosted by the University of Central Missouri.
Although the team came in eighth place,
Ryan Dyck finished in the top five overall. The event featured 98 players who posted scores.
Dyck shot rounds of 72 in each of the three rounds for a plus-three finish for the entire event. This was Dyck's best finish this season round total and lowest three round tournament
Corbin Adams shot a three-round total of 225 to finish in a tie for 33rd position. This was matched by teammate
Tyler McKay who also shot 225. McKay's low round for the event was 70, his lowest so far this season. Adams shot a low round of 73
Senior
Jake Smock, who had led the team in scoring average this season did not finish the event. Smock withdrew following rounds of 75 and 76, respectively  Â
This was the team's lowest finish this season despite finishing in the top-10
The team will be back in action Oct. 21-22 at the TVA Credit Union Classic in Florence, Ala. hosted by the University of North Alabama.
