The Lindenwood men's golf team won the Drury Invitational on Tuesday. The Lions finished with a team score of 629, 17 shots better than the host school.

The Lions jumped out to a six-shot lead after shooting a 316 in the first round. They improved by three shots in the second round to finish well above the pack in a field that included Drury, Rockhurst, Sioux Falls, McKendree, and William Jewell.

Oscar Isacsson shot two rounds of 76 and finished second overall, one shot behind the medalist. Jake Smock placed fourth overall with a 154, including a 75 in the first round which was the best Lindenwood score of the week.

Rounding out Lindenwood's squad was Adam Salisbury with a 161, Erik Isacsson with a 162, and Greg MacAulay with a 166.

Lindenwood also had a B-team at the event and it finished fifth with a 656. Patrick Harrell had a top-10 finish with a two-day score of 159.

Lindenwood will be in Alabama on March 25-26 to play in the Northern Alabama Spring Classic.
